The demand for chefs is always increasing in the tourism and hospitality industry regardles whether it involves restaurants, hotels, airlines, food manufacturing, fast food chains, bakeries or home based industries. Budding chefs who wish to be professionally trained can take advantage of our short course in baking and Diploma in Baking Art.

Our College provides the foundation for students wishing to be the next Escoiffier (Chef Innovator of Fine Food), Careme (Chef Extraordinaire of Classical Cooking), Alain Ducasse (the world's only 6 star Michelin Chef) or even our very own Chef Wan. Here, students will acquire hands-on practical skills in food and beverage production and services, accommodation and reception operations and services. All this is possible with our state-of-the-art facilities ranging from a full industrial sized kitchen to mock-up guest rooms and a front office reception equipped with the latest Hotel Information Systems.

Real life experiences at Flamingo Café give students a taste of running a food & beverage establishment. Students will be taught a good mix of theoretical and pratical aspects of the overall kitchen operations by our industrial experienced chefs. This coupled of management skills such as purchasing, cost control and people management which will ultimately produce graduates who are able to operate a kitchen effectively.
