DIPLOMA IN TOURISM MANAGEMENT (SM 0672)

Tourism has made the world a playground. A career in any aspect of this multibillion-dollar industry is a ticket to excitement and adventure. Regarded as one of the most buoyant employment sectors, the tourism industry is becoming increasingly demanding in terms of the qualifacations it requires from its future employee.
Our Diploma in Tourism Management is well structured, internationally focused and provides a good balance between theory and practical skills related to the tourism industry. This course examines a range of contemporary issues associated with the travel & tourism industry such as business tourism, tour operators, travel agencies and transportation for tourism. Therefore, students will be prepared for employment in supervisory or managerial positions where they will play key roles in planning, developing and promoting tourism.
Upon successful completion of our courses, students are able to acquire an understanding of tourism in its widest sense, develop analytical skills, managerial specialities and language proficiency. External examinations such as City & Guilds (C&G) and Institute of Commercial Management (ICM) are available for those who would like to obtain internationally recognised qualifications.
